Keep the Learning Going This Summer with FREE Online Tutoring!

Want to keep your child engaged and confident in reading and math over the summer months? Charlottesville City Schools is thrilled to offer a FREE online tutoring service through K12 Tutoring for all families of students who were in grades 3–8 during the 2025-26 school year! 

This completely free resource connects your student with a certified teacher for personalized, 1-to-1 support tailored entirely to your schedule. Sessions can be booked for 30 minutes or 1 hour and can take place at whatever time works best for your family. Whether you have a specific topic you want the tutor to focus on, or you just want to prevent “summer slide,” K12 Tutoring aligns sessions with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) and our division's priority focus areas. 

You can access this service right from a personal device at home. To get started and set your student up for success, simply follow these step-by-step instructions. Available this summer and as long as sessions last!
